Taking a breather at Bradfield
Winnat's Pass near Castleton |
26th September 2009 Run out to Castleton in Derbyshire
This must have been the longest run out for the branch to date. Certainly for those from the North Bank who clocked about 200miles. Myself and Keith met at the Humber Bridge for a sunny but chilly run
down to Bawtry to meet up with the others. We ended up with an EFI Classic, an EFI
Electra, a Sixty-Five and my 350 classic. The weather was warm and sunny all day for our tour of Derbyshire taking in Hope, Edale and Castleton before returning via the outskirts of Sheffield for a welcome cup of tea at John's on the way home. A grand day out dispite the numb bum. |
