Whitby

Only three members assembled for the run at Beverley; Keith on the EFI, Steve on his Twin, and myself on the Classic 350.

The first leg was to Fimber for a cup of tea and we were caught up by Allan who had trouble with his RE and had caught us up on the Beemer.

Next leg was to Hutton Le Hole for more tea before a glorious run across the moors to Whitby. The weather was kind and the heather was in full bloom.

After fish and chips at Whitby we returned by a circuitous route through Forge Valley and across the Wolds on by-ways to even more tea at "Fletcher's Garage"

It was a grand ride but bedecked by minor problems.

1) Allan's RE wouldn't fire up so he had to come on the Beemer
2) Steve had a fork leg oil seal blow losing most/all the oil.
3) I had a toolbox lock break.
4) I had the speedo drive seize up and destroy the cable.

(not to mention Keith's little problem -
no, no, my lips are sealed!)

We started to wonder "What next"
